Not all candles are created equally. Many are made with petroleum based waxes which are not eco friendly and can give off harmful odors. But in this segment, Lesley introduces us to a candle maker who uses eco friendly beeswax and soy candles at her Northern California Studio.

I was wanting to start making candles and maybe selling some. So what all do I need to start this, how difficult is it to make the pillar candles, and how much should I charge for them. Will a candy thermometer work, that might sound kind of silly, but I don’t know.

Waxmelters asked:

EZFLO 1200 is put to the test by dispensing from a small 10 gallon melter (39 Liters) which is resting on the ground and dispensing up to a 4′ (1.2 M) high bench to fill a 32oz (.94 L) container.
Speed would be increased by having a arger, elevated melter.
